Personal Development App
Overview.
GrowBit, tagged "An All-in-One Growth Companion," is
a Personal Development App for 19-28-year-old students and young professionals seeking holistic growth. It merges mental wellbeing, physical health, intellectual challenges, and habit tracking into one platform, easing the use of multiple apps like MyFitnessPal, Headspace, Habitica, Duolingo and Todoist. As a junior UI/UX designer this is my first project, I designed this app to solve problems for users like Priya, Arjun, and Maya.

Problem Statement.

Young adults aged 19-28, including university students and young professionals, struggle with fragmented personal development tools that focus on single areas like fitness or tasks, forcing them to switch between apps like MyFitnessPal and Todoist. This leads to overwhelm, stress from rigid systems that guilt-trip users for missed days, and demotivation due to inflexible schedules that don’t fit busy lives. GrowBit aims to address this by offering a unified solution that supports their diverse growth needs with ease and encouragement.
Research.
I explored 19-28-year-old students and professionals
with a Google Forms survey targeting 30-50 responses on growth habits and app needs, but only got few responses. I shifted to interviews with open-ended questions, uncovering stress from app-switching and a need for a unified app. Total input from 10 participants shaped GrowBit’s direction

App Structure.
After analyzing the requirements and insights, I developed a Information Architecture for the app to understand its structure and organize features effectively. This process involved mapping out key sections—Body, Brain, Habits, and Mind to ensure a logical flow and seamless user experience, aligning with the diverse growth needs identified

Low Fidelity Prototype.
Initial sketches for each screen were created on paper, outlining the app’s structure and flow. These hand-drawn concepts were then converted into low-fidelity prototypes in Figma, establishing a basic framework for navigation and layout testing
